After over a decade away, I’m thrilled that I get to practice medicine back home in Colorado with PANC. My medical career started here with undergraduate training as a wilderness first responder, and I can’t imagine a more fitting place to take my next step.

I graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish. I stayed on the east coast for medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. From there I moved to Los Angeles, California to complete my residency training at UCLA where I ultimately served as Pediatric Chief Resident.

In my free time, I love hiking, camping, watching movies, and hanging out with my partner Walker and our dog Sargon, who is part husky and excited to see snow again.

My history with global health work has been an important part of my medical career, and I’m excited to apply those experiences to our community in Fort Collins. Through work in Kenya, Costa Rica, and Thailand I’ve studied infectious diseases, explored the impact of cultural nuances on medical practice, and honed my Spanish from conversational ability to medical fluency. I also completed an elective training at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.

I’m a pediatrician with strong interests in early childhood education, obesity prevention, immigrant health, vaccine promotion, and LGBTQ health. My aim is to have open conversations with your family on these subjects and many others that come up on the journey to lifelong health. I’m excited to be a part of your family’s journey and to get to know your unique goals and dreams.
