I joined Pediatric Associates on an as-needed basis in 2008 and am happy to be a full-time provider at PANC as of April 2015. I was formerly an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Northern Colorado, where I taught in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs, focusing on educating students in pediatric nursing in acute care and primary care settings.
I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998. I received my Masters in Nursing—Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2002 and have been certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since then.
Prior to becoming a PNP, I worked as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at the University of Missouri Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
My husband, Aaron, and I have four wonderful children (Ian, Lucy, Nora, and Stella) who keep us busy and on our toes! We enjoy many family activities outdoors and can often be found on the sidelines of a soccer game, baseball game, or cheering on gymnastics. I personally enjoy reading, cooking cajun/southern foods, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
As a mother of four, I understand the worries and concerns that come with parenting, and I hope to provide guidance, reassurance, and education to help your child(ren) grow and thrive.
